ONE POEM BY CATHERINE JI

HAVE THE FISH MIGRATED

Have the fish yet migrated?

The Great Blues are rolling scuppers

Under the ocean swell,

Santa has no need to don his fur,

No, He opts for Bohemian

Wear, khaki pants and sunshades-

Hollywood is drowned in tides

Of rain, peeling acid,

And Florida’s alligators drown in

Flipping streams of flood.

An absurd change. The posters are all

Thrown into the trash:

Did you recycle them?
